The plane crash was recorded on the Räyskälä aviation center's web camera.

According to the time stamp shown in the picture, it was taken on October 16 at 12:18, i.e. about ten minutes after the rescue service received the first notification of the aviation accident. The picture was taken from the side of the field in the direction of the runway. On the other side of the area, at the edge of the forest, a column of dark and thick smoke can be seen rising into the air.

In Lope, at Räyskälä airport, two people died when a small plane crashed on Wednesday. The accident plane is an American-made T-6 Texan. According to the rescue service, the small plane that was taking off fell and caught fire.

 There were two people on board the plane. Seven emergency services units were dispatched to the scene.
